Laura Vyda specializes in strategic communications, branding and media relations and has served as a communications specialist for numerous health and economic justice organizations. She is the co-founder and Principal of Spark Action Consulting, a full court communications firm founded in 2005 that has helped scores of organizations amplify their message and achieve meaningful media coverage. She previously served as the Director of CDRR/Coaltion for the Medical Rights of Women and also worked as a sex educator in the 90s, presenting many sexual health trainings and workshops across the U.S. and in Paris, Rome, Stockholm and Kampala. With over 25 years of experience as an advocate for sexual and reproductive health, Laura is thrilled to work with the IMPT to advance MPTs for women’s health and empowerment. She has a Master’s in Sociology from Yale University and a BA from Barnard/Columbia.
